Tiller Extension (Patent Pending)

The Challenge

A standard tiller is fine for low-wind days. Hike over the sides of the boat though and you may run out of tiller length. Traditional articulating extensions can hang up on the sheet and bridle when not in use, and they are pricey.

Our Solution

Our simple, low-cost retractable extension adds another foot to your tiller. When retracted, it passes easily behind you when sitting on the back of the cockpit. The aluminum tube extension slides easily in its bracket.

Features

Bracket attaches with three stainless steel screws provided with the extension. Tube motion is limited by cotter pin and end cap, also provided. Extension can be mounted on any side of tiller, typically underneath.
